Jose Mourinho has strongly dismissed speculation linking him with a possible return to coaching Real Madrid.The Portuguese coach called the rumors nothing more than a "soap opera" that often appears amidst the uncertainty of the Los Blancos coaching position.
"Don't involve me in soap operas. There are a lot of good soap operas, but they're too long. You can miss an episode or two and then lose the plot. Don't involve me, I don't watch soap operas," Mourinho said, as reported by talkSPORT on Tuesday.
Speculation arose after Real decided to part ways with Xabi Alonso last week, despite the Spaniard having only been in charge for seven months.
The club management then appointed Alvaro Arbeloa, who previously coached the Castilla team for half a season.
In its official announcement, Madrid did not mention the length of Arbeloa's contract.
This situation has led to various names of top coaches being linked again with the Spanish giant club.
