Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs (Wamenkomdigi), Nezar Patria, assessed that telecommunications network readiness is crucial for a smooth return flow. A stable network helps passengers stay connected and reduces the risk of service disruptions amid increased traffic.
"Monitoring will continue until the peak of the return flow is over. The government ensures that telecommunications services at major transportation hubs remain ready to serve the public," said Deputy Minister Nezar Patria in an official statement received in Jakarta on Saturday.
In this regard, Komdigi ensures that telecommunications services at Soekarno Hatta Airport are ready to serve the surge in passengers during the year-end holiday return flow, which is expected to occur on January 3-4, 2026.
