Brentford manager Keith Andrews expressed his delight at defender Kristoffer Ajer's contract extension on Thursday (January 22), which ties the Norwegian to his squad until 2030.
"I'm really pleased with his new contract. Since joining the club, he's played a huge role both on and off the pitch," Andrews said, as quoted on Brentford's official website on Friday.
The Irish tactician also described Ajer as a popular figure on the team. As one of Brentford's most senior players, the 27-year-old is a key figure for his teammates, especially the younger ones.
