Racer Marc Marquez admitted that he is currently in discussions to extend his contract with Ducati Lenovo.
The 2025 world champion still has one season remaining on his contract with Ducati Lenovo.
Marc said he did not want to rush into a decision on a contract extension even though both parties had opened talks.
"I want to think more about the future and wait a little longer, then decide on our future mid-season, for example," Marc Marquez said, as quoted by the MotoGP website on Wednesday.
"We are in discussions, we are getting closer to some projects and we need to decide, but it is true that manufacturers are trying to take one rider and build their own project," added the Spaniard.
