Marc Marquez: My goal is to fight for the world title
Ducati Lenovo rider Marc Marquez is ambitious about returning to the MotoGP world championship fight in 2026.

Marc, who delivered a fantastic performance in MotoGP history in the 2025 season, bagging 14 consecutive series wins, successfully secured the world championship title.

"My main goal is to fight to become world champion. This has to be the main objective, and it will be a weight off my shoulders (after recovering from injury)," said Marc Marquez, as quoted by MotoGP.com on Monday.

Marc, who is now edging closer to becoming the rider with the most world championship titles in history, is looking to repeat his success in the 2025 season.

Currently, Marc has equaled the record of legendary racer Valentino Rossi by holding seven world championship titles or one title less than another legendary racer Giacomo Agustini who has pocketed eight world championship titles, or the most successful racer in history.
