Ducati Lenovo rider Marc Marquez is wary of the resurgence of the Aprilia, KTM, Yamaha, and Honda teams in the 2026 MotoGP season.
Defending champion Marc Marquez believes the 2026 season will be a very exciting competition, as the teams have begun to show positive trends in motorcycle development.
"It will be a very interesting 2026 season. Aprilia is developing quite well. KTM has Pedro Acosta," said Marc Marquez, as quoted by MotoGP.com Video on Monday.
"Honda is always getting closer and closer, they have a very good pace. Yamaha may still have a few problems, but they are still Yamaha (who must be watched)," added the Spanish rider.
Besides being wary of potential opponents from teams that are considered to be on the rise, Marc revealed that he will always keep an eye out to not be careless in competing against his younger brother, Gresini Racing racer Alex Marquez.
Alex, who was Marc's rival for the championship title last season, is considered by Marc to be able to perform much better in the 2026 season.
"You can get everything from Alex (Marquez). He finished second, and he'll be a contender for the world title (in the 2026 season)," said the seven-time world champion.
Marc Marquez, who has just recovered from injury, is now preparing to compete in the 2026 MotoGP season.
Most recently, the racer with number 93 has ridden the Ducati Panigale V2 and tested the Aspar Circuit, Valencia, Thursday local time.
