Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is wary of Manchester United's improved performance under interim manager Michael Carrick, ahead of the two teams' meeting at Emirates Stadium on Sunday night at 11:00 p.m. WIB.
"Yes, Michael brought new ideas. Their intensity has increased, and that was clear in the Manchester derby in their attitude and the way they played," Arteta told Arsenal's website on Saturday.
"We expect a tough match, but we'll adapt. We're playing at home and know how important that is for us."
Manchester United came to the Emirates Stadium with high confidence after beating Manchester City 2-0 in their last match
The win widened Arsenal's lead at the top of the table to seven points over City.
Arteta admitted United would be different this time from the 1-0 defeat by Arsenal last August.
