Alexander Sabar, Director General of Digital Space Supervision at the Ministry of Communication and Digital, stated that during the meeting, Party X expressed its commitment to complying with applicable Indonesian laws and improving protection for women and children on its platform.
"X emphasized that it will ensure that the Grok AI feature cannot be used to generate pornographic content, and will take action against accounts found to have violated policies and laws," Alexander told.
Komdigi will continue to monitor and evaluate the X platform's commitments to ensure that digital space protection is implemented in a real and sustainable manner.
Alexander outlined Komdigi's actions in dealing with platforms that create and distribute pornographic content using AI, including emphasizing that every Electronic System Provider (ESO) is required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia.
