Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen lost 0-2 when visiting the headquarters of Greek representatives Olympiacos at the Kariskakis Stadium, Piraeus.
In this match, Olympiacos managed to secure a victory thanks to goals from Costinha and Mehdi Taremi, even though Bayer Leverkusen actually dominated the match.
This victory moved Olympiacos up to 22nd place in the Champions League standings with eight points from eight, just one point behind Bayer Leverkusen in 19th place.
