The Central Executive Board of the All-Indonesia Basketball Association and the Indonesian Basketball League are collaborating with the National Narcotics Agency to safeguard the integrity of the competition from all forms of crime and drug abuse.
Head of the Legal, Ethics, and Disciplinary Body of the Indonesian Basketball Association DPP, Fritz Edward, said the collaboration was a response to a number of violations found in the previous season and a step to improve the quality of competition so that the development of national basketball could continue to move forward.
"We know what happened in 2025 (the Jarred Shaw case), and we hope it won't happen again in 2026," he said.
He explained that the federation and league operators are committed to creating a clean, safe, and professional competition ecosystem for all sports players.
