Persija Jakarta may not be able to play its two new foreign players when they host Madura United in the Super League match at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
Ahead of the second half of the Super League season, the Kemayoran Tigers have brought in three new players.
The three are Fajar Fathurrahman, and a duet of players from outside Indonesia, Alaeddine Ajaraie and Paulo Ricardo.
"Fajar is ready to play. We don't know yet whether Alaeddine and Paulo will be able to play. But I believe these incoming players will help us. They've been training well," said Persija coach Mauricio Souza at a press conference at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium .
"So if they can't play tomorrow, they can play against Persita."
In terms of the league standings, Persija is far better than Madura United. The Kemayoran Tigers are in third place with 35 points, while Laskar Sappe Kerab are in 14th place with 17 points.
