Milwaukee Bucks basketball player Ryan Rollins has shone even brighter during the 2025-2026 NBA season, making the club optimistic about challenging the Sacramento Kings in a match at the Golden 1 Center, Sacramento, United States (US), Monday (5/1) morning WIB.
The NBA website, Sunday, stated that the Bucks would open a four-game Western Conference tour, facing the Kings as hosts.
"Rollins played well for the club," Milwaukee Bucks Head Coach Doc Rivers said.
The second match between the two teams was highlighted by the increasing role of Rollins, who has now emerged as a key figure in the Bucks' game.
Rollins scored 29 points in the final game against the Charlotte Hornets, before the Bucks secured a narrow 122-121 victory on a late basket by Kevin Porter Jr. and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Star Antetokounmpo finished with 30 points, while Porter had 10 assists .
The Bucks head to the Western Conference with three wins in their last four games. During that stretch, Antetokounmpo has averaged 29 points per game (ppg), despite playing under 30 minutes per game.
Meanwhile, Rollins contributed 19.5 points per game (ppg) and Porter posted an average of 8.8 assists per game (apg).
Rollins was the 44th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft and struggled to find playing time early in his career.
After being released by the Washington Wizards in January 2024, he joined the Bucks and slowly became an important part of the team.
This season, Rollins has started 30 games and has scored 20 points or more 13 times.
In the Kings camp, attention is focused on rookie Maxime Raynaud's condition. The center's MRI confirmed no structural damage to his leg, allowing him to continue playing.
Kings coach Doug Christie greeted the news with relief.
"He (Raynaud) is always smiling (optimistic) for the team and that is a good sign," he said.
