Persebaya Surabaya coach Bernardo Tavares revealed his team's decision to bring in three new foreign players in this winter's transfer window.
Quoted from the official I.League website, Thursday, Tavares said the recruitment of three new foreign players was the result of an evaluation tailored to the team's needs and the club's financial condition.
"Yes, there are three players I'm looking at. I think with the budget the club has allocated, we can get these three players. We hope these three players can help us," Tavares explained.
Persebaya Surabaya previously brought in three Brazilian players, namely Jefferson Silva (wing-back), Bruno Paraiba and Gustavo Fernandes (center-back) in this winter transfer window.
