Head of the Domestic Policy Strategy Agency of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Yusharto Huntoyungo, invited civil servants within the East Java Provincial Government to develop smart and impactful policies by strengthening quality human resources and utilizing digital technology."We are not only competing with fellow civil servants (ASN), but also with the speed of technology. Therefore, human resources capable of utilizing digital technology to support policy analysis and recommendations are crucial," Yusharto said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.
This was conveyed by Yusharto when he was a resource person in the ASN Learning Series 2 activity themed " From Smart Thinking to Smart Policy : Thinking Wisely for Impactful Decisions" which was held online by the East Java BPSDM on Thursday.
He emphasized that amidst the flood of data and the rapid development of information technology, the existence of competent human resources is a primary prerequisite for producing quality policies.
According to him, technology is only a tool, while humans remain the determining factor in managing data, analyzing problems, and formulating policy recommendations.
He added that strengthening ASN competencies continues to be encouraged through various learning forums, one of which is through the ASN Learning program.
