Cucun said the change was made based on a letter from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) Faction Number 354/F-PDIP/DPR RI/XI/2025 dated November 24, 2025 regarding Changes to AKD Membership Assignments.
"We, as the leadership of the council, hereby appoint I Wayan Sudirta, member number A-238 from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle faction, as Deputy Chairman of the Honorary Council of the Indonesian House of Representatives," said Cucun at the parliamentary complex, Jakarta, Tuesday.
He explained that based on the provisions of Article 121 of Law Number 2 of 2018 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 17 of 2014 concerning the MPR, DPR, DPD, DPRD (MD3), in conjunction with Article 90 Paragraph 2 of DPR RI Regulation Number 1 of 2020 concerning the DPR RI Rules of Procedure, the leadership of the Council's Honorary Court consists of one chairperson and a maximum of four deputy chairs.
According to him, the composition of the leadership of the DPR RI was chosen from and by members of the Council's Honorary Council in a permanent package based on proposals from factions in accordance with the principle of deliberation for consensus.
With this change, he said that the composition of the DPR RI MKD Leadership, namely Nazaruddin Dek Gam from the PAN Faction as chairman, I Wayan Sudirta from the PDIP Faction as deputy chairman, Agung Widyantoro from the Golkar Party Faction as deputy chairman, Imron Amin from the Gerindra Party Faction as deputy chairman, and Adang Daradjatun from the PKS Faction as deputy chairman.
