The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) has confirmed that the 2025 budget will be allocated directly to strengthening digital access for the public, especially in frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged (3T) regions.
Throughout 2025, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Technology (Kominfo) has realized a budget of Rp10.58 trillion, equivalent to 94.9 percent of the Rp11.4 trillion allocated after blocking. This budget is focused on maintaining the continuity of strategic digital services while expanding connectivity in areas that have previously faced limited access.
In a working meeting with Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid emphasized that this budget absorption reflects the state's efforts to provide digital services more equitably, including amidst the transition process of ministerial organizations.
