The Indonesian National Police held a ceremony for promotions to and within the rank of High-Ranking Officer as well as promotions for Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers, and Privates simultaneously throughout Indonesia.
Head of the Public Information Bureau of the Indonesian National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, stated in Jakarta on Wednesday that the promotion process would be carried out simultaneously across all regional units, from the National Police Headquarters, Regional Police, Resort Police, to the rank and file work units.
"This promotion ceremony was held simultaneously throughout Indonesia as a form of uniformity in career development and organizational solidarity," said Trunoyudo.
He said that nationally, the total number of Polri personnel who received promotions reached tens of thousands of people.
Regular promotions to and within the rank of Pati Polri were given to 42 personnel.
Meanwhile, 308 personnel were promoted to the rank of Police Grand Commissioner , 642 personnel to the rank of Assistant Police Grand Commissioner , 1,332 personnel to the rank of Police Commissioner , 3,335 personnel to the rank of Assistant Police Commissioner , and 4,418 personnel to the rank of First Inspector of Police .
In addition, service rank promotions to Second Police Inspector were given to 448 personnel, as well as promotions to the rank of Non-Commissioned Officer for 36,053 personnel and Private for 1,918 personnel.
In the promotion to and within the rank of Senior Officer of the Indonesian National Police, several names stand out, including Inspector General Kalingga Rendra Raharja, who serves as the Head of the Community Development Coordination Corps of the Indonesian National Police's Security and Public Order Agency , Inspector General Agus Santoso, and Inspector General Umar Surya Fana, who serves as the Level I Major Crime Investigator at the Indonesian National Police's Criminal Investigation Agency .
Meanwhile, in the promotion to Police Brigadier General, several prominent names include Brigadier General Murry Mirranda who serves as Deputy Chief of the Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police, Brigadier General John Huntal Sarjananto Sitanggang as Danpasbrimob II Korbrimob Polri, and Brigadier General Susatyo Purnomo Condro who serves as Level II Main Crime Investigator at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police.
