TikTok has launched a short-form drama app called PineDrama in the United States and Brazil, featuring microdramas, short fictional series broadcast in episodes of approximately one minute.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Monday, PineDrama is available on iOS and Android devices. The app is free to use and currently doesn't feature ads, though that model could change in the future.
Through the “Discover” tab, users can find various drama titles grouped into “All” and “Trending” categories, as well as personalized content recommendations based on user interests.
The content offered covers a variety of genres, including thrillers, romances, and family dramas. Popular titles include "Love at First Bite" and "The Officer Fell for Me."
This application also features a “Watch history” feature to continue watching unfinished shows, as well as “Favorites” to save your favorite dramas.
