Indonesian men's singles badminton player Moh. Zaki Ubaidillah learned a valuable lesson after losing to Loh Kean Yew in straight games 19-21, 10-21 in the second round of the 2026 Indonesia Masters at Istora, Senayan.
Ubed, as he is familiarly known, said that this defeat taught him that the tempo of the game must be more controlled.
"I can learn from him how to increase the tempo of the game when the wind is against me. He can control his opponent by controlling the space and his speed," said Ubed in a press conference after the match.
