Al Ittihad's four goals came from Houssem Aouar, Youssef En-Nesyri, an own goal from Pedro Miguel and Stephane Keller, while Al Sadd got one goal from Rafa Mujica.
This victory puts Al-Ittihad in fourth place in the final standings of the ACL Elite league phase with 15 points to qualify for the round of 16.
Al Sadd still qualified for the round of 16 because they were in eighth place in the standings with eight points, ahead of Sharjah in ninth place on goal difference.
