Alvaro Morata's red card marked Como's 1-2 defeat to Fiorentina.
  Como 1907 suffered a 1-2 defeat to Fiorentina at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium on Saturday evening WIB, in an Italian League match that was marked by a red card for Alvaro Morata.

Fiorentina took a two-goal lead through Nicolo Fagioli and Moise Kean, while the hosts responded through an own goal by Fabiano Parisi.

This result means Como failed to close the gap on fifth-placed AS Roma. Cesc Fabregas's side sit in sixth place with 41 points, five points behind the Wolves.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina climbed out of the relegation zone to occupy 17th place with 21 points, according to the legaserie a page.

Como dominated from the start. Nico Paz had his first chance in the 19th minute, but goalkeeper David de Gea thwarted him.

Too busy attacking, the hosts conceded in the 26th minute.

Como's defensive error in clearing the ball led to Nicolo Fagioli winning it and beating three players before beating Jean Butez with a shot at the near post.
