Manchester United (MU) striker Benjamin Sesko expressed gratitude for the 1-1 draw at West Ham United's home ground at the London Olympic Stadium, Wednesday morning WIB, in the 26th week of the 2025/2026 Premier League.
The draw meant United failed to achieve five consecutive wins in the Premier League, but rather than regret it, Sesko chose to be grateful for this valuable point.
"Unfortunately, there are days when you're a bit unlucky. Maybe our intensity wasn't quite at the level it should have been," Sesko said, as quoted on MU's official website on Wednesday.
"But yes, in the end, we still fought. We got a very important draw," added the 22-year-old striker.
Sesko became the hero of the match after his goal in the final minutes broke through the Hammers' goal guarded by Mads Hermansen.
It was his sixth goal of the season for the Red Devils in the Premier League, with four of those coming in his last six games, starting with Burnley.
He was the main focus in the dramatic 3-2 win at Old Trafford against Fulham, but he said it was purely down to the team's hard work, not his own.
