Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has urged his side to be wary of Qarabag when the two sides meet in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 playoff at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium in Baku on Wednesday night.
Howe revealed that he had watched many of Qarabag's matches, including their 2-0 defeat to Liverpool and their 2-2 draw with Chelsea.
Howe believes Qarabag's heavy defeat to Liverpool does not explain how the match unfolded.
"They started the game very well and brilliantly, creating a number of chances, being really threatening. They have some dangerous players," Howe told Newcastle's website on Wednesday.
