Persija Jakarta suffered a 0-2 defeat when they hosted Arema FC in the 20th week of the 2025/26 Super League at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium on Sunday evening WIB.The Kemayoran Tigers were defeated by two goals from Gabriel Silva in the final minutes.
The additional three points moved Singo Edan up to ninth place in the standings with 27 points. Meanwhile, Persija remains stuck in third place with 41 points, six points behind Persib Bandung at the top of the table.
Arema made the first threat in the 18th minute through Gabriel Silva's chance, but his effort was thwarted by Persija goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo.
