Google has launched an update to its “ Results about you ” feature and a feature to remove explicit images displayed on its Search service without consent as part of Safer Internet Day.
As reported by Tech Crunch on Wednesday, Google stated that the “ Results about you ” feature now not only allows users to request the removal of search results containing phone numbers, email addresses, or home addresses, but also more sensitive identity information such as driver’s license numbers, passport numbers, or other official identification numbers.
This feature can be accessed through the Google application by tapping on your Google account photo, then selecting the “ Results about you ” menu.
