Spotify sees surge in users thanks to Wrapped campaign and new features
  Music streaming platform Spotify recorded a surge in users last quarter, driven by its annual "Wrapped" campaign and the introduction of new features.

As reported by Tech Crunch on Wednesday, Spotify added 38 million new users in the fourth quarter, bringing its total monthly active users to 751 million, an 11 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The number of paying subscribers also increased 10 percent to 290 million accounts.

Spotify says the “Wrapped” campaign generated more than 300 million users and 630 million pieces of content uploaded to social media in 56 languages.
