Iran's national futsal team coach, Vahid Shamsaee, predicts the 2026 Asian Futsal Cup final against host Indonesia will be exciting.
The final will be held at the Indonesia Arena in Jakarta. Iran advanced to the final after defeating Iraq 4-2, while Indonesia defeated Japan 5-3.
"I believe tomorrow will be an interesting match for two reasons," Shamsaee said at a pre-match press conference for the final at the Indonesia.
"The Indonesian fans are passionate, and we're facing a team that's reaching the final for the first time with great motivation," he said.
Iran, who will be playing in their 16th final in the Asian Futsal Cup, will not underestimate Indonesia even though this is their first time in the final.
