Kurzawa confirms Persib Bandung is aiming for victory against Ratchaburi
Persib Bandung's new full-back Layvin Kurzawa emphasized that his team is aiming for a win against Ratchaburi in the first leg of the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League (ACL) II at Ratchaburi Stadium, Na Muang, Wednesday (11/2).

Quoted from the club's official website, Monday, Kurzawa expressed his readiness to work hard and show his best performance in the match which will take place at Ratchaburi Stadium.

"Our target is to win this match, play with a good mentality and not concede. And we can score the goals we want," said Kurzawa.

The French player has been training with Persib Bandung for approximately one week and he is one of the players brought to Thailand.

The former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) player added that he did not know Ratchaburi's exact strength, but he was sure the match would be difficult.

Kurzawa explained that his confidence arose because Ratchaburi was one of the teams that managed to qualify for the round of 16 of the ACL II this season.

"We'll see. We will try to give our best in this match," said Kurzawa.

The 33-year-old is currently awaiting his debut with Persib Bandung after being brought in during the 2025/2026 mid-season transfer window.

Before joining Persib Bandung, Kurzawa played for Portuguese top-tier club Boavista, but struggled with injuries and did not make many appearances.
