La Liga standings: Real Madrid close behind Barcelona
  Real Madrid continues to keep pace with FC Barcelona at the top of the standings, after they secured a 2-0 victory over hosts Valencia at Mestalla, Monday morning WIB.

After a 0-0 draw in the first half, Madrid's victory in this match came in the second half through goals from Alvaro Carreras in the 65th minute and Kylian Mbappe in the 90+1 minute.

This victory brought Madrid to within touching distance of Barcelona with a collection of 57 points in second place, just one point behind their biggest rivals who previously won 3-0 over Mallorca with goals from Robert Lewandowski (29'), Lamine Yamal (61'), and Marc Bernal (83').
