MDI Ventures, a venture capital firm under the Telkom Group, is focusing its business strategy on optimizing portfolio value by strengthening synergies between startups, the Telkom Group, and the state-owned enterprise (BUMN) ecosystem.
Within this framework, MDI positions itself as a liaison between innovations developed by startups and enterprise needs, so that collaboration can be more structured, relevant, and ready to be executed.
"One of the biggest challenges when startups collaborate with enterprises or state-owned enterprises is ensuring from the outset that the solution truly meets business needs and is executable," said MDI Ventures Director Roby Roediyanto in a written statement.
He added that the focus of this synergy is measured through the creation of concrete value, such as pilot projects that progress to the implementation stage, the formation of clear go-to-market paths, or collaborations that can be expanded across entities.
