Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria said the government ensures the state's presence in maintaining the public information ecosystem and maintaining quality journalism.
Publisher rights policies, transparency regarding the use of content by AI technology, and the principle of fair compensation for the media industry are part of the national digital policy direction.
"This step is aimed at maintaining the sustainability of quality journalism and protecting the public's right to complete and reliable information," Nezar said in an official statement.
