Not offering any visual changes, iOS 27 is reportedly focused on performance
Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, known for his Apple leaks, has shared details of the latest iOS 27, which is rumored to clean up old code and improve battery life.

Gurman's sources, as reported by Gizchina on Sunday (February 15), stated that Apple wants to "streamline and clean up" the system thoroughly. Years of iOS updates have left behind useless code fragments. These code fragments slow down phones and trigger strange bugs.

Apple engineers are now searching the entire system for outdated code that no longer serves a purpose. Once found, these pieces will be removed completely, without patches or workarounds.
