Persib Bandung has the opportunity to play three of its new players, Layvin Kurzawa, Dion Markx, and Sergio Castel to debut in the match against Ratchaburi FC in the Round of 16 of the AFC Champions League Two which will be held at Ratchaburi Stadium, Thailand, Wednesday night.
Persib coach Bojan Hodak confirmed that the three new players are ready to play, including Sergio Castel, who just joined the team this week.
"We'll just have to see if he can play tomorrow. Sergio is here with us," Hodak said in a statement received in Bandung on Wednesday.
However, Hodak has not confirmed whether Kurzawa, Markx, or Castel will start the match or start from the bench.
Meanwhile, Persib will be without three key players: Beckham Putra Nugraha, Marc Klok, and Julio Cesar. All three are absent due to ongoing injury recovery.
