Samsung shows off AI-based photography features on the Galaxy S26
Samsung showcased the artificial intelligence (AI)-based photography features on the Galaxy S26 smartphone ahead of the product launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for February 25, 2026.

According to an Engadget report on Wednesday, the Samsung Galaxy S26 will feature a new camera system powered by Galaxy AI that combines capturing, editing, and sharing photos and videos.

In its statement, Samsung stated that users will be able to change daytime photos into night views in just seconds, restore missing parts of objects in images, take detailed photos in low-light conditions, and combine several photos into one with a complete and harmonious final result.

Samsung also showed a video clip showing a comparison of the results before and after using the AI features, all of which will be placed in one application so users don't have to switch between applications to edit images.

In addition to improved photography support, the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra phones that will be launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event are expected to bring a number of more advanced AI-based features.
