Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti said his team suffered a setback after being defeated 5-2 by Galatasaray in the first leg of the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League round of 16 playoff in Istanbul, Turkey, early Wednesday morning WIB.
"We took three steps backward. Our personalities were bad. We failed to understand the difficulty and danger of what we were doing," Spalletti said, as quoted on Juventus' official website.
According to the Italian tactician, Juventus displayed a poor performance, particularly at the back. Spaletti assessed that his defenders made several risky moves that benefited the opposition.
