The Ministry of Communication and Digital  received 362 inputs from 33 entities in a public consultation regarding the draft implementing regulations for Government Regulation Number 17 of 2025 concerning Governance of Electronic System Implementation in Child Protection or PP Tunas.

Director General of Digital Space Supervision Alexander Sabar stated that all input provided would be important in refining the draft ministerial regulation on the implementation of the Tunas PP.

"The 362 inputs we received from 33 entities demonstrate open participation and a commitment to ensuring that child protection regulations in the digital space are relevant to the dynamics of digital technology," he said, as quoted in a ministry press release in Jakarta on Saturday.

The results of the compilation of public input show that the substance of the draft regulations that received the most public attention were risk assessment, service governance, and compliance and oversight mechanisms.

These provisions are considered to have a direct impact on feature design, internal governance, and the business model of Electronic System Providers (PSE).
