The win over Cagliari proves that AS Roma is capable of bouncing back from poor results.

  AS Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini said his team's 2-0 victory over Cagliari in the 2025/2026 Serie A match at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, early Tuesday morning WIB, proved his squad's ability to bounce back from a poor result.

Previously, on Tuesday (February 3), the team nicknamed Gialorossi lost 0-1 to hosts Udinese.

"It (the performance against Cagliari-ed) was a solid performance, no doubt about that. We're a team that always manages to bounce back," said Gasperini, as quoted on AS Roma's official website.

According to the Italian tactician, AS Roma played bravely and calmly against Cagliari. This allowed them to score goals in the first and second half through Donyell Malen (25', 65').
