Liverpool manager Arne Slot hopes first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker will be fit to host Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League match at Anfield this week.
"I'm optimistic, but that doesn't mean I'm 100 percent sure," Slot told Liverpool's website on Friday.
Alisson missed the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Galatasaray in Istanbul, Türkiye, midweek due to a minor problem he felt the day before the match.
The Brazilian goalkeeper's problems meant he was left out of Liverpool's squad for the trip to Istanbul, with Slot opting for Giorgi Mamardashvili in the 0-1 defeat.
"But I'm not 100 percent sure because I haven't spoken to him or the medical staff this morning," Slot said.
According to him, Alisson felt something in one of his muscles when passing the ball.
