Persis Solo coach Milomir Seslija is confident his team will stay in the Super League after his side secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Bali United at Manahan Stadium which lifted Laskar Sambernyawa out of the relegation zone.
"I think we're in a good position now," Milo, the coach who led Persis to an unbeaten run in their last six matches, told the I.League website on Friday.
The beloved team of Solo residents has collected 20 points in 15th place, level with Madura United and Semen Padang. They are just ahead on goal difference.
Despite being out of the red zone, Milo said Persis's journey to survival is still long as there are nine more matches to be played, including four home matches.
"And now we will fight for our future," said Milo.
