Arsenal advanced to the quarter-finals after beating Leverkusen 2-0

Arsenal advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2025/26 Champions League after defeating Bayer Leverkusen 2-0 in the second leg of their round of 16 tie at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday morning WIB.

The Gunners advanced 3-1 on aggregate after a 1-1 draw in the first leg, according to UEFA's official website.

Playing at home, Arsenal were dominant and created a number of chances, but Leverkusen goalkeeper Janis Blaswich was brilliant, thwarting several attempts from Leandro Trossard, Declan Rice, and Bukayo Saka.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 36th minute. Eberechi Eze scored a beautiful volley after receiving the ball on the edge of the penalty area, giving Arsenal a 1-0 lead at halftime.
