The National Consumer Protection Agency has expressed support for the Ministry of Communication and Digital's policy on restricting children's use of social media.
The Head of the National Education and Culture Agency , Mufti Mubarok, assessed that this policy is a strategic step in protecting children as digital consumers from various risks in cyberspace.
"The Indonesian National Education Agency views the policy of restricting social media use for children as an important preventative measure. Children need to be protected from the negative impacts of excessive digital technology use, including mental health risks, exposure to inappropriate content, and misuse of personal data," Mufti said in a statement.
