Meta's top executives have told "other senior leaders" to start "planning how to reduce the number of employees," Reuters reported.
However, a Meta spokesperson called the report "speculation about a theoretical approach."
Based on the company's latest financial report, Meta had 78,865 employees as of December 31, 2025.
In the same period, the company reported revenue of nearly US$60 billion (Rp1,014 trillion) in the fourth quarter and more than US$200 billion (Rp3,392 trillion) throughout 2025.
