Chivu: Inter Milan should have done better against AC Milan
Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu said his team should have played better in their 2025/2026 Serie A match against AC Milan at the San Siro Stadium, Milan, where the Nerazzurri lost 0-1.

"We played badly, disorganized and ineffective," said Chivu, quoted from the Inter Milan website.

According to the Romanian tactician, one of Inter's biggest weaknesses when facing AC Milan is their front line.

Chivu continued, saying that Inter's game typically centers on attack. However, Inter's front line against AC Milan was without their mainstay attacking duo, Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, who are still struggling with injuries.

Therefore, Chivu relied on young strikers Ange Bonny  and Francesco Pio Esposito  from the start to the end of the match.

"Our game always starts with the work of our strikers, which wasn't optimal in this match. However, I'm still pleased because our two young strikers did what they could," said the 45-year-old.
