Hangtuah coach Wahyu Widayat Jati praised his players' solid performance despite losing 63-73 to visiting team Pelita Jaya (PJ) Jakarta in the 2026 Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) match."I'm proud because the players have given their best in this match," said the man who is often called Cacing after the match held at the Ciracas Sports Hall.
According to him, his foster children showed a competitive game and were able to keep up with a star-studded team like their opponent.
Wahyu said his team was able to maintain the rhythm of the game for about 35 minutes. However, their focus began to wane in the final five minutes, shifting the momentum of the match to their opponents.
