Network technology provider Ericsson has launched artificial intelligence (AI)-based radio and Radio Access Network (RAN) software to help operators, including those in Indonesia, build smarter, more efficient, and future-ready 5G networks.
Ericsson Indonesia President Director Nora Wahby said that as 5G expansion in Indonesia accelerates, a fast network is not the only priority, but also a smarter and more sustainable network.
"By bringing AI capabilities directly to the Radio Access Network, we are enabling a high-performance, adaptive, and more energy-efficient network, helping operators in Indonesia accelerate network deployment while optimizing long-term investments," Wahby said in a press release.
