Harden leads Cavaliers to victory over Nets despite thumb injury
Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player James Harden put on a brilliant performance despite still recovering from a right thumb injury, as he helped his team to a 106-102 victory over the Brooklyn Nets in the 2025-2026 NBA game.

The NBA website, Monday, stated that Harden recorded 22 points, nine rebounds , and eight assists in the match.

The superstar was also effective from beyond the three-point arc, hitting four of his seven field-goal attempts.

The 36-year-old had previously missed two games after suffering a fractured right thumb during the Cavaliers' 109-94 win against the New York Knicks.

However, he returned against the Nets. Despite not being at his best, Harden was still the difference maker in the second half.
