Indonesia is the host of the 2026 AFF U17 Cup. In Group A, besides Vietnam, Indonesia is also accompanied by Malaysia and Timor Leste, who will compete for a ticket to the semifinals.
At the U-17 Asian Cup level, the Young Garuda have won twice, while Indonesia has hosted the tournament five times.
