Janice Tjen is gearing up for doubles at Indian Wells after failing in singles.
Indonesian tennis player Janice Tjen is preparing to compete in the doubles at the 2026 BNP Paribas Open after being eliminated in the first round of the singles event.

In the WTA 1000 Indian Wells event, Janice, who is partnering with Taipei tennis player Chan Hao-ching, will face Katrzyna Piter/Andreja Klepac in the first round.

Unlike before, Janice and Piter were on opposite sides of the net this time. Janice and Piter won the WTA 250 Guangzhou title together last year. They then kicked off their 2026 season with a victory at the WTA 250 Hobart.

Janice and Piter also paired up at the season-opening Grand Slam, but were eliminated in the opening round of the Australian Open.

In the "Middle East Swing" Janice teamed up with new partners, namely Filipina tennis player Alexandra Eala at the WTA 500 Abu Dhabi, and Czech tennis player Marie Bouzkova at the WTA 1000 Dubai.
