KOI urges athletes to report cases of violence and harassment
The Chairman of the Indonesian Olympic Committee , Raja Sapta Oktohari, urged athletes to report any incidents of violence or harassment.

"Don't be silent because every voice can represent other friends who may be silent today (not daring to report)," said Oktohari to the media crew at the KOI 74th anniversary celebration.

He said this was related to the emergence of cases of alleged sexual harassment and physical violence against rock climbers and kickboxers.

He appreciated the athletes and administrators of the Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation (FPTI) who had dared to speak out against the alleged physical violence and harassment by the head coach.

After that, another report emerged of alleged sexual harassment from a kickboxing athlete.

He explained that KOI has a Safeguarding Program that protects all sports people from violence, harassment, discrimination, and other forms of abuse.
