Luis Garcia Plaza has been announced as Sevilla's new coach, who will oversee the remainder of the 2025/2026 La Liga season and help them avoid relegation.
Quoted from the club's official website, Wednesday, Sevilla reached an agreement to work with Luis Garcia Plaza with a contract lasting until June 30, 2027.
Plaza will face a tough task with Sevilla, with the main target being to stay in the top flight of the Spanish League and avoid relegation this season.
Currently, Sevilla is ranked 15th in the Spanish League standings with a collection of 31 points from 29 matches.
Previously, Sevilla was managed by head coach Matias Almeyda, who had managed 32 official matches and was just fired.
Plaza is no stranger to Spanish football, having played for Atletico Madrid B, Yeclano, Rayo Vallecano B, Talavera, and Benidorm in the Spanish League.
